Why the Target Blu Eye 2?

The Target Blu Eye 2, the latest generation of this innovative system, detects both conspicuous and inconspicuous emergency services. This system uses signals from the C2000 communication system to track ambulances, police vehicles and fire trucks in your vicinity. This allows you as a driver to anticipate quickly and adequately. The visual and acoustic warnings of the Target Blu Eye 2 ensure increased road safety and extra alertness. Moreover, it is completely legal to use!

Improvements of the Blu Eye 2

The new Target Blu Eye 2 picks up 600 high TETRA/C2000 channels in addition to the 200 low TETRA/C2000 channels, which have recently been introduced in the European Union. This allows the system to offer an even better detection of emergency services.

Different options The Target Blu Eye 2 offers two different displays: an LED display for the rear-view mirror and a 2.4-inch LCD screen for in or on the dashboard. In addition, an LED box is available to mount the LED circuit board of the rear-view mirror version in a different location in the car.

Alerts up to three emergency services simultaneously

The Target Blu Eye 2 displays can show up to three alerts simultaneously. This is particularly useful if there are multiple emergency services in your area, ensuring you are always fully aware of the situation.

• Advanced Tetra technology The Target Blu Eye 2 comes with a main unit, a control display and an external antenna, and works on the Airwave network (TETRA). When emergency vehicles are detected, you will receive both audible and visual warnings. The signal strength meter on the control display shows whether the emergency vehicle is approaching or moving away from you.
• Audible and Visual Alerts The Target Blu Eye 2 recognizes the two different communication signals from emergency services and provides a specific audible alert for each type. The visual alerts are displayed on the signal strength meter, with an estimated distance to the approaching emergency vehicle(s).

Sensitivity settings

You can choose from different sensitivity settings:

• Highway mode : highest sensitivity for long distance detection.
• City mode : lower sensitivity, ideal for use in urban areas.

The detection range varies from several hundred meters to about one kilometer, depending on the environment and the selected sensitivity mode.
