Antenna analyzers and cable analyzers
In our webshop you will find a wide range of very reliable high-end antenna analyzers and antenna and cable analyzers, ranging from pocket size to large size, with rechargeable battery or battery powered.
With an antenna analyzer you can set up an antenna or detect and solve problems. If you are regularly involved with antenna setups, it is very useful to have an antenna analyzer or antenna and cable analyzer yourself. It is also good to check your antenna setup after a heavy storm or thunderstorm so that you know for sure whether everything is still properly adjusted or whether you need to readjust your installation.
An antenna analyzer does much more than just SWR
An antenna analyzer does more than just SWR, it will tell you the resistive and reactive components at a minimum. The better analyzers have graphing capabilities, can search frequency ranges, create smith graphs, measure 1/4 and 1/2 wave stubs, coax velocity factor, interface with software running on a pc so you can save and view it, etc. The RigExpert analyzers do all of that...and are invaluable if you do a lot of antenna installation! Additionally, many antenna analyzers can show a nice graph of SWR versus frequency.
An antenna analyzer is indispensable
- Quick check of the antenna installation
- Tuning an antenna
- Antenna SWR and impedance measurement and comparison
- Installing coaxial lines or measuring the parameters of coaxial lines
- Checking and Troubleshooting Cables
- Measuring capacitance or inductance of reactive loads
- Send data from all measurements to your laptop
- You can view the data on your laptop in graphs and analyze it further
What is an antenna and cable analyzer?
Antenna and Cable Analyzers are portable RF test instruments used for on-the-go testing of RF cable and antenna performance at their operating frequency and for quickly locating faults in RF cable, connector and antenna. These fast, accurate and cost-effective equipment are used by technicians and site engineers during the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of microwave cables and communication systems at cell sites.
How to use an antenna and cable analyzer?
A cable and antenna analyzer can measure return loss/VSWR, cable loss, distance-to-fault (DTF) measurements, reflectance measurement, antenna isolation, impedance, etc., allowing engineers to detect system problems and avoid valuable time during system failures.
