The technology behind LaserTrack Flare

LaserTrack Flare uses infrared lasers with a wavelength of 904 nanometers, ideal for accurate distance and speed measurements due to its narrow beam and immunity to atmospheric conditions. This technology is also used in police laser guns, allowing the system to detect objects hundreds of meters away with great precision.

LaserTrack Flare automatically opens garden gates and garage doors when your car comes within range. The system automatically exchanges access codes, supported by over 4 billion unique codes, and can recognise up to 50 vehicles. On the road, the system identifies other road users without giving warnings or interfering with laser safety systems. Detection and protection against police lasers are dependent on the settings selected by the user.

Remote control and laser detection

The LaserTrack Flare functions worldwide as a remote control with audible and visual signals. The laser detection mode warns of police lasers, but offers limited protection because a laser gun only needs half a second to measure speed.

Protection against laser guns

The protection mode against police lasers is not permitted in most European countries. When activated, the system provides temporary protection, giving you enough time to adjust your speed. The system warns with sound and light signals on the display.
