Delivery time:

1-3 Business Days

The AOR AR5700D is an advanced communications receiver designed for both commercial and government applications. This scanner offers wideband signal detection, monitoring, voice decoding, recording and display, with a frequency range of 9 kHz to 3.7 GHz. It can receive a wide range of digital and analog signals. Thanks to the unique three-core FPGA processing technology, the AR5700D offers unmatched digital demodulation.

Included software

The AR5700D comes with I/Q output and AR-IQ-III software, allowing you to record and play back a full 0.9MHz bandwidth without loss of quality.

Main features on the AR-5700D

  • Digital Signal Processing : Input signals after the 45.05 MHz IF are converted from analog to digital via a DSP processor. All processing, including AGC, is performed by DSP.
  • High-quality analog front-end : Signal processing via a computer-simulated, high-quality filter.
  • Local DDS Oscillator : High-speed frequency switching by direct digital synthesis.
  • IF output : Analog IF with a bandwidth of 15 MHz (+/- 7.5 MHz).
  • Digital I/Q output : 0.9MHz digital I/Q signal via USB 2.0 interface.
  • High precision frequency reference : 0.01 ppm stability with optional GPS receiver.
  • FFT Analyzer : 10 MHz wide spectrum data via serial output.
  • Digital Voice Demodulation : Support D-STAR, YAESU, ALINCO, D-CR, NXDN, P25, dPMR, DMR, Mototrbo, TETRA (mode specific restrictions).
  • Video Demodulation : Demodulate signals from FM security cameras and analog TV broadcasts via an external TV monitor.
  • Simultaneous Monitoring : Supports 2-band reception, offset reception and triple reception (with limitations).
  • SD Card Slot : For recording received audio and logs.
  • 12 kHz Analog I/Q Output : Enables DRM broadcast decoding via PC and special software.
  • HF Direct Sampling : Direct digital conversion of HF signals for excellent linearity characteristics.
  • Super wideband coverage : 9 kHz to 3.7 GHz.
  • Decoding of many digital protocol signals : TETRA, DMR, NXDN, D-STAR, DPMR, APCO 25, YAESU, ALINCO, D-CR and analog signals such as FM, FM-STEREO, AM, SYNCHRONOUS AM, USB, LSB, CW, analog I/Q and FM video.

Advanced processing and demodulation

The AR5700D is equipped with four Renesas SH2 CPUs, three Analog Devices Blacklin DSPs, one Analog Devices ADSP-2185 DSP and four Intel (Altera) Cyclon FPGAs. This provides powerful signal processing, demodulation and decoding. The high sampling rates of 63/65 MHz offer superior aliasing and image reduction.

Accurate signal strength indicator

The AR5700D displays highly accurate signal strength values in S-units, dBm and dBuv units, measured at the antenna input. It also features a traditional "analog" S-meter.

Portability

Weighing in at just 5kg and featuring a robust carrying handle, the AR5700D is fully portable. The handle can be easily mounted on either side of the receiver or unscrewed for mounting in a recess.

Robust receiver performance

The AR5700D has 33 bandpass filters and provides +20 dBm IIP3 at 14.1 MHz, +6 dBm at 50 MHz, and +5 dBm at 620 MHz.

Extensive memory and scanning capabilities

The AR5700D has 2000 memory channels, 40 search banks, 1230 pass frequencies and 100 select channels. The typical scan rate is 100 channels per second.

AOR AR-I/Q software

The AR-IQ-III software enables control, I/Q recording and playback. The digital I/Q output interface streams I/Q data to the PC via USB 2.0, with a sampling rate of 1.125 Msample/sec. This allows you to store and play back a full 0.9 MHz bandwidth without loss of quality.

The AOR AR5700D is a powerful and versatile digital scanner, ideal for both professional and hobby users looking for advanced features and robust performance
