AOR has an APCO P-25 digital decoder for use with receivers with a 10.7MHz IF output.

It's true! Now you can receive standard (unencrypted) APCO Project 25 digital signals with a regular analog receiver that has a 10.7 MHz IF output. The ARD25 processes the 10.7 MHz signal, converts the digital transmission and sends it to the internal speaker, or your station speaker.

Simply connect the ARD25 and start listening to APCO 25 digital signals your analog receiver might not have previously processed.

The ARD25 adds a new dimension to your high-quality analog receiver. You can now monitor standard (non-encrypted) APCO Project 25 signals with simple connections and without making any changes to your receiver.

With which AOR receivers can the AOR ARD25 APCO P-25 be used?

  • AOR AR-ONE

  • AOR AR8600 Series

  • AOR AR5000 series

  • As well as other receivers and monitors that have a 10.7MHz IF output port.

What are the features of the AOR ARD25 APCO P-25 digital decoder?

  • Easy to connect and easy to operate

  • Adds "new life" to your existing receiver

  • Compact size

  • No adjustments to the receiver required

  • Pass analog signals

  • Data output via RS 232C serial port:

What are the specifications of the AOR ARD25 digital decoder?

  • Input level: more than -105dBm

  • Reception modes: APCO Project 25 digital voice signal (Uncoded signal only)

  • Analog narrow FM signal

  • Off frequency adjustment: Automatic (AFC)

  • Signal modulation: ±20% of specifications (Automatic adjustment)

  • Squelch: Level squelch (analog mode),

  • adjustable squelch level

  • Power requirement: 11 - 16 V DC, 140 mA (at 12 V DC) typical

  • Serial port: RS-232C 9600bps asynchronous,

  • 8 bit, non-parity, 1 stop bit

  • Speaker input: 3.5mm mono

  • External speaker output: 3.5mm mono (signal output is mono)

channel bandwidth is needed to move the signal from digital to analog. The ARD25 does not add trunking

options for your recipient. Some jurisdictions may restrict the use of devices such as the ARD25.
