The AOR ARL-2300 Ethernet Controller is an optional remote control for the AOR AR-2300, AR-5001D, AR-6000, and AR-5700D scanners. The AOR ARL-2300 allows you to listen and record remotely via LAN. This controller is ready to use as soon as you connect it to an AOR AR-2300 or AR-5001D scanner and an available LAN port on your router. The AOR ARL-2300 receives power directly from the scanner via the control cable. Suitable for both professional and hobby use.
Software for the ARL-2300
The client software runs on the Java-2 platform and requires at least version 1.6 (Java SE6 runtime) on the PC. Settings can be easily adjusted via the local network (DHCP mode) using a browser, thanks to Apple's Zero-configuration software 'Bonjour'.
The included control software allows remote control of the receiver connected to the ARL-2300. No installation is required, so the software can be easily copied or removed to and from the PC, along with the configuration file. Once the router and the ARL-2300 are properly configured, the client software communicates with the receiver in real time. No specific LAN settings are required on the client side.
