The AOR AR-2300 is a powerful, computer-controlled black-box receiver with advanced digital signal processing (DSP) . This receiver is a compact and versatile version of the highly regarded AR-5001D and offers a wide range of functions for both professional users and demanding hobbyists. Operation is via a connected PC or laptop , and with the optional LAN controller the receiver can be controlled remotely .
Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Analog signals (45.05 MHz IF) are directly converted to digital signals by a DSP processor.
- Advanced features such as Automatic Gain Control (AGC) are performed completely digitally for optimum performance.
High-quality analog front-end
- Analog signal processing is performed by a computer simulation of a high-quality distribution constant filter.
Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS)
- The first local frequency is generated via DDS instead of the traditional PLL method, resulting in fast frequency switching.
