Versatile connections

The Desktop MKII is equipped with two 4mm screw terminals on the rear for mono speaker level signals (4 or 8 ohms), and a stereo 3.5mm "Line Level" input, ideal for SDR radios, Elecraft and FlexRadio products. In addition, the speaker has a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the side for mono or stereo headphones. The power supply is via a 12V DC connection with a 2.1mm socket (middle + ve).

Adjustable filter level control

The noise reduction can be easily turned on and off by pressing the filter level control. The dial allows you to adjust the filter level in real time to suit your listening conditions, with noise reduction ranging from 9 to 40 dB (8 levels).

**NOTE for Elecraft K3 users: To connect to the K3 using the included speaker cable, you will need to either create an audio cable with a 3.5mm stereo plug (tip connected only) to a 3.5mm mono jack , or one of our ALD-009 cables, or you can also use a 3.5mm stereo plug to connect the cable and connect from your K3 to the Line-In Jack on the desktop MKII speaker (ALD -007).
