User-friendly controls

The Dual In-Line module is easy to operate with intuitive knobs and switches. It features an input level control with LED indicators and separate controls for adjusting the line level and speaker output levels. You can listen with headphones, a passive mono speaker or active speakers. The noise reduction is easily activated with a filter on/off switch and an 8-way rotary switch for adjusting the noise filter level. A switch allows you to separate or combine the input signals.

Versatile connection options

The Dual In-Line module offers a variety of connectivity options with 3.5mm mono or stereo jacks and three different outputs: a 7 Watt mono speaker output, a stereo line output and a 3.5mm stereo headphone output. This gives you the flexibility to connect up to two mono inputs or one stereo input and use up to three separate outputs. The unit is supplied with an ALD-007 stereo plug to plug cable, an ALD-001 3.5mm mono plug to plug cable, a user manual, rubber feet and a DC power cable. For optimum performance a separate 12V DC power supply such as the Worldwide PSU-12-2A-WW is recommended.

Compatibility and Applications

The Dual In-Line module is suitable for use with all radios, receivers and SDR devices and supports both mono/stereo speaker level and stereo line level audio input signals. Active speakers can be connected to the stereo "Line Out" jack, while a passive speaker can be connected to the 7W amplified mono "Audio Out" jack. This allows you to listen to both headphones and a mono speaker at the same time, ideal for DXing, club stations, special events and field day events. The Dual In-Line module replaces the outdated BHI NEIM1031MKII, but offers enhanced features and the latest DSP noise reduction technology.

Further enhance your reception sound by combining the Dual In-Line module with the EQ20 10W parametric equalizer. Simply connect the "Line Out" signal to the EQ20 and connect your passive speaker or headphones to the EQ20 output for personalized audio settings, ideal for people with hearing loss.
