The Comet BR-200 is an advanced active broadband base antenna, suitable for a frequency range of 0.5 to 1300 MHz. This antenna is made of durable fiberglass and aluminum, making it both lightweight and sturdy. Depending on the frequency, the BR-200 offers a gain of 3 to 7 dBi . Thanks to the integrated amplifier, this antenna generates a gain of 30 dB on HF and VHF, and a gain of 12 dB for frequencies above 900 MHz.
The Comet BR-200 comes with a Bias-T unit, which allows the preamplifier voltage to be easily fed via the coaxial cable. This unit requires a voltage of 9 to 16 Volts and a current of 100 mAh. With a length of 135 cm and a weight of 1000 grams, the antenna is easy to install and use. The antenna connector is N-Female , and the polarization is linear vertical.
