The Comet CF-360B is a duplexer that allows you to simultaneously transmit/receive the HF band (30 MHz) and the VHF & UHF bands (50 MHz, 144 MHz and 430 MHz). By using one or two Comet CF-360B duplexers you can connect transceivers and antennas with one coaxial cable.
This Comet CF-360B is equipped with combined high-quality filters that, on the one hand, aim to prevent the occurrence of TVI. (Isolation of each connector is more than 45dB.) If the CF-360B is used for one frequency, the other connectors can remain [open], but the use of an additional dummy load will be much better and is therefore recommended.
So if you want to split HF, VHF or UHF signals, you need Comet duplexers.
These duplexers, sometimes called combiners or splitters, are essentially bandpass filters, which simultaneously send RF in both directions through the common connector, while the bandpass filters provide a high degree of isolation between ports.
- TX and RX from two radios simultaneously to a dual-band antenna.
- Combine a dual-band radio with separate outputs in a dual-band antenna.
- Separate a single-connector duplex radio into separate antenna systems.
- Run a single coaxial cable into two antennas at the top of the tower and two radios at the bottom by using a duplexer on both ends of the coaxial cable.
