Comet GP-98N

The Comet GP - 98 is a 3 -band Base colinear antenna , fiberglass construction , the length is a comfortable 2.94m , and gives great performance at 2m / 70cms and 23cms .



Using Comet 's latest ABS joint system and heavy duty fiber optic, the GP 98 is the perfect antenna for tri - band operation . When used with the Comet CFX - 431 the triplexer type , you can enjoy triplex communication .



The GP 98 uses the newly developed MPC (multi -pass converter system) for low loss and maximum gain . Wideband coverage and no adjustment required , VSWR less than 1 : 1.5 . The antenna weighs 1.6 kg , has a maximum power rating of 300W , the base connector is an "N " type , and the mast requirements are between 30 - 62mm ( clamps are included) .



If you have n't tried the operation of these three bands before , the GP- 98 is a great way to get started, and is very easy to install and connect . Rigs such as the Kenwood TS -2000 , ICOM IC - 910 , etc etc with 23cms options , are ideal for use with this antenna .
