The Comet SB-2 is a compact and powerful mobile antenna designed for 144 MHz (2m) and 430 MHz (70cm) applications. With a PL-259 (MP) connector this antenna is easy to mount on a UHF-female (PL) connector.
Despite its modest length of 46 cm , the SB-2 offers an impressive gain of 2.15 dBi on 144 MHz and 3.8 dBi on 430 MHz , with a maximum transmit power of 60 watts. In addition, this antenna has a wide reception range of 100 - 170 MHz and 350 - 470 MHz , making it suitable for scanner use.
