The Comet SB3 is a powerful and versatile mobile antenna designed for 144 MHz (2m) and 430 MHz (70cm) applications. With a PL-259 (MP) connector, this antenna is easily mounted on a UHF-female (PL) connector.
The Comet SB3 has a 90 degree tilt mechanism , making it easy to adjust for various mounting positions. With a gain of 2.15 dBi at 144 MHz and 5.0 dBi at 430 MHz , combined with a maximum transmit power of 60 watts , this antenna offers excellent performance for mobile use.
In addition, this antenna has a wide reception range of 100 - 170 MHz and 350 - 470 MHz , which also makes it suitable for scanner use.
