The Comet SBB-7 is a powerful dual band mobile antenna suitable for 2 meter (144 MHz) and 440 MHz frequencies . The SBB7 offers excellent performance for both radio amateurs and hobbyists, with high gain and reliable signal amplification. This antenna has a 5/8 wavelength center load on 2m with a gain of 4.5 dBi and 3 x 5/8 wavelength on 440 MHz with an impressive gain of 7.2 dBi. With a VSWR of 1.5:1 or less , this antenna ensures optimum signal transmission.
With a maximum continuous power of 70 watts and a robust design, the Comet SBB-7 is ideal for users looking for a reliable and powerful mobile antenna. The height of 140 cm makes this antenna perfect for mobile applications in vehicles, and the tiltable antenna boom offers flexibility if you have a low carport or garage or if you want to park in a parking garage with a low passage.
The SBB7 is equipped with a gold-plated UHF connector (PL259) and can therefore easily be mounted on a UHF-Female (SO239) connector. This antenna is equipped with a convenient, manual, tilt function so that you can easily fold the antenna down when necessary. The hinge of this antenna can rotate 360 degrees for the desired positioning. Note: first lift the antenna boom completely up before folding it down to prevent damage.
