The Diamond BC-205 comes with two tuning sections for frequency ranges of 430-460 MHz and 460-490 MHz. This allows the antenna to be optimally tuned to the specific operating frequency for best efficiency and maximum signal strength. The usable bandwidth of the antenna is between 5 and 10 MHz, depending on the tuning.
