The Diamond DQN-400 is part of the latest line of that specially designed for connecting mobile antennas in vehicles. The system consists of two separate cable parts that are connected to each other via a high-quality plug connection. This allows the antenna base, cable length and connector type to be assembled as desired.
Outdoor antenna cables (SLM and SLN types): Thin cables with a diameter of 3 mm, which can easily be fed through vehicle openings or seals. Inside the vehicle, this antenna cable is extended and connected to a thicker cable that runs to the device (such as a transceiver).
Transceiver Side Cables (Types DQM, DQN, DQSM, and DQSMF): These thick, low-loss cables are approximately 7 mm in diameter and are designed for optimum signal transmission inside the vehicle.
TIP: Keep the length of the thinner cable as short as possible and make the thicker cable as long as necessary.
