The TSM series from Everhardt are pre-tuned antennas for the standard 40 27Mhz channels. The TSM antennas are spirally wrapped around a 1/4 inch fiberglass rod with 'Super Flex' feature to help prevent breakage.
How do you tune the Everhardt TSM-2 antenna?
- Remove the cover cap from the antenna.
- Remove the foil until you see the wire spool.
- Carefully pull a piece of thread from the spool and cut a small piece off. (you can always cut a piece off later instead of too much at once)
- Then place the thread back into the thread spool.
- Place the cover cap back on the antenna.
- Measure the SWR. Repeat steps 1 to 5 until you have a good SWR.
