The TSM series from Everhardt are pre-tuned antennas for the standard 40 27Mhz channels. The TSM antennas are spirally wrapped around a 1/4 inch fiberglass rod with 'Super Flex' feature to help prevent breakage.

How do you tune the Everhardt TSM-2 antenna?

  1. Remove the cover cap from the antenna.
  2. Remove the foil until you see the wire spool.
  3. Carefully pull a piece of thread from the spool and cut a small piece off. (you can always cut a piece off later instead of too much at once)
  4. Then place the thread back into the thread spool.
  5. Place the cover cap back on the antenna.
  6. Measure the SWR. Repeat steps 1 to 5 until you have a good SWR.
