The Firestik II FS5 is a high performance 5ft CB antenna with a tunable tip , making it easy to optimize SWR. This model builds on the proven performance of the Firestik KW Series, but adds the unique Tuneable Tip adjustment mechanism. This provides wideband coverage and stable SWR across multiple channels.
Thanks to the top-loaded coil, the Firestik FS5 provides excellent signal strength, ideal for use on cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans and off-road vehicles. The antenna requires a metal surface or a Firestik mounting bracket for optimum performance. Also suitable for dual (co-phase) installations.

Installation and tuning
The Firestik FS5 antenna requires tuning after installation. This is easily done by manually adjusting the Tuneable Tip. This model works best on a metal vehicle or a metal bracket that serves as a ground. For powder coated or painted surfaces, the mounting area should be stripped bare for good conductivity.
The Firestik II FS5 is available in four colors: black, white, red and blue.

To maintain a balance between flexibility and robustness , Firestik uses a custom blended fiberglass reinforced shaft. All wrapped with heavy duty insulated copper wire to resist oxidation and shorting .
