The Firestik FS-99 is a 150cm top loaded antenna rod that replaces the existing top section of the Solarcon Antron A99 base antenna. Firestik's top loaded coil design provides a lower beam angle, meaning you can receive more distance with this easy to install, high performance upgrade.
Installation Instructions: Simply remove the original top section of your Solarcon Antron A99 base antenna and screw on the 3/8x24 threaded base of the Firestik FS-99 antenna. Firestik's patented hand tunable tip gives you even more freedom to tune your antenna to a specific frequency and increases the overall range of your Solarcon Antron A99 base antenna.
NOTE: The Firestik FS-99 is NOT a standalone antenna. The operating frequency of the Firestik FS-99 is 32.700 MHz. When used on the Solarcon Antron A99, the total frequency of the combined sections brings the primary operating frequency to approximately 27.185 MHz.
