The Firestik LG4-M2 antenna is a high quality No Ground Plane (NGP) 27MHz antenna, specifically designed for vehicles such as RVs, boats, cars and trucks that are made of plastic, fiberglass, wood or aluminum. This antenna eliminates ground problems that often lead to high SWR and poor performance. By using an innovative isolated technology, the Firestik LG4-M2 provides reliable performance without the need for a ground.
This antenna uses the same 5/8 wave and adjustable tip as the Firestik FireFly series, providing an optimal balance between flexibility and strength. The Firestik LG4-M2 easily mounts to the standard 6mm base of Volvo and Scania without modification. For newer Volvo models, an M7 to M6 adapter is required. The antenna is supplied with a high quality, custom designed 5.2 meter NGP coaxial cable, providing excellent signal transfer and reliability.
