The renewed HamKing SWL-01-25 is the successor of the popular SWL-01 receiving antenna and is now also suitable for QRP HF use. This antenna can handle up to 25 Watt SSB PEP in the frequency range of 3.5 to 30 MHz. For optimum performance an antenna tuner may be required.
Excellent RX wire antenna
In addition to the improved QRP HF capabilities, the HamKing SWL-01-25 remains an excellent RX wire antenna for the 0.1 to 30 MHz range. Compared to the shorter SWL-02-25, the SWL-01-25 offers better performance at lower frequencies, ideal for serious listeners and radio amateurs.
Sustainable construction
The antenna is equipped with a 1:9 UnUn wound on an Amidon toroidal core and is manufactured with strong 1.5mm thick stainless steel cables, with a total length of approximately 16 meters. The PA6 housing and insulators are UV resistant, making the antenna resistant to various weather conditions and giving it a long life.
