The HamKing SWL-02-25 is the successor to the popular SWL-02 receiving antenna and is now also suitable for QRP HF use. This versatile antenna can handle up to 25 Watt SSB PEP in the frequency range of 3.5 to 30 MHz. For optimum performance an antenna tuner may be required.
Excellent RX wire antenna
Besides QRP HF use, the HamKing SWL-02-25 remains an excellent RX wire antenna for the 0.1 to 30 MHz range. For those who have room for a longer wire antenna, we recommend the SWL-01-25 for better performance at lower frequencies.
Sustainable construction
This antenna is equipped with a 1:9 UnUn wound on an Amidon toroidal core and is manufactured with strong 1.5mm stainless steel cables, with a total length of approximately 10 meters. The PA6 housing and insulators are UV resistant, making the antenna resistant to various weather conditions and providing a long service life.
