The Icom IC-M400BBE is an advanced mobile VHF marine radio, designed for ultimate reliability and functionality on the water. With a built-in GNSS receiver, this radio provides accurate location and time information, displayed perfectly on the handy Command-mic display when connected to an external GPS receiver. Thanks to the integrated DSC-Watch function, channel 70 is continuously monitored, even while other channels are being used.
One of the key benefits of the IC-M400BBE is its space-saving, two-piece configuration. The black box unit can be installed discreetly while all functions remain controllable via the intuitive COMMANDMIC™ HM-195B. This menu system is consistent with the latest Icom models and uses an easy to navigate dot-matrix display.
The IC-M400BBE's active noise cancellation technology eliminates up to 90% of background noise, making both outgoing and incoming communications crystal clear. With a built-in 10 Watt amplifier, this VHF radio provides loud and clear audio through an external speaker, and can even serve as a public address system and fog horn.
The built-in Class D DSC function meets the highest safety standards, including emergency and safety calls, and is compatible with AIS transponders such as the MA-510TR/MA-500TR for even greater versatility. In addition, the IPX7 waterproofing ensures that both the IC-M400BBE and the HM-195B can withstand the toughest maritime conditions.
