The IC-R15 is a portable scanner that allows you to listen to various radio signals, including aviation, amateur and maritime bands between 108 - 500 MHz in AM/FM modes. In addition, you can also listen to radio broadcasts between 76-108 MHz (WFM). With its intuitive user interface, this device is easy to use, even for beginners who want to quickly turn it on and listen. For the more experienced enthusiast, the IC-R15 offers advanced features such as simultaneous dual signal reception and fast scanning, making it a versatile choice for anyone who enjoys receiving and listening to radio signals.
Dualwatch operation
The dualwatch function* allows you to receive multiple signals at the same time. While receiving on A-band, you can scan B-band, so you never miss a signal. For example, you can track the movements of two different aircraft at the same time.
- Receive VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF and VHF/UHF band combinations simultaneously.
Large color screen with simple icon menu
The IC-R15's large colour display provides excellent visibility for all displayed information. Together with the graphic icon menu, the IC-R15 is very intuitive to use and easy to understand for received information, radio stations, airport names, etc.
Simple mode
In simple mode, frequencies are registered by category. You can receive signals by simply selecting the frequency you want to listen to. By registering frequently listened to frequencies as favorites, you can reach them even more easily.
Intuitive user interface
The multifunction key supports smooth access and selection of each function. Together with the independently assigned SCAN and SKIP keys, it provides ease of use. The high-visibility color display provides intuitive operation, so you can quickly identify your desired signal.
Save audio to a microSD card
A built-in recording function allows simultaneous recording of two signals and saves the received audio to a microSD card as a WAV file. Even if you miss the audio, the recorded audio can be played back on the IC-R15 or on your PC. Information such as frequency, mode, S-meter and time (user setting) can also be recorded with the audio, so you can later see when the audio was recorded.
Built-in Bluetooth function
The built-in Bluetooth function removes the inconvenience of wired headsets and earphones, allowing you to focus on your scanning. *Bluetooth connection has not been tested for all Bluetooth compatible devices with this product. This does not guarantee that all devices will work with this product.
IPX7 waterproof construction
The IC-R15 features an IPX7* waterproof and professional construction, allowing it to be used outdoors, such as in airports, at the seaside or in bad weather.
- Submersible in 1m deep water for 30 minutes.
