The JCD 201M 8P HF-Proof is a robust table microphone specially designed for use with radio amateurs. This microphone comes with a free adapter cable for Kenwood radios with an RJ45 connector , so you can get started right away. The microphone offers versatile settings and the possibility to connect two radios to the microphone, which provides extra flexibility in use.
In addition, separate adapter cables are available for Icom, Yaesu, and Alinco radios, making the microphone widely applicable within the amateur radio world.
Please note: This microphone is for use with amateur transceivers only and is not suitable for CB radios. Always check carefully that your transceiver is compatible with the JCD-201M microphone version. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or incorrect wiring.
The JCD 201M 8-Pin HF-Proof table microphone is ideal for HF applications up to 100 Watts and offers a number of useful features for professional operation. The microphone has a selectable output connector, an adjustable compressor and offers features such as an 'ON AIR' LED indicator and a clear VU level meter for good control of the signal. With the TX warning that goes off after 2-3 minutes of transmitting, you can prevent unintentional long transmissions.
