The K-PO DX-5000 Plus is a powerful and versatile HF transceiver offering extensive features and programming capabilities. The optional USB cable and accompanying software for Windows operating systems allow you to easily program and customize the transceiver. No more programming for standard or export

You do not need to reprogram the device if you want to use the standard or export version. You can easily switch between both bands. FM Band 1 = 28.000 to 29.700 MHz and FM Band 2 = 25.615 to 30.105 MHZ

Here's how to switch between bands with the DX-5000:

  1. Turn off the transceiver
  2. Press the FUNC and S/RF buttons simultaneously . Hold these buttons and turn on the radio at the same time.
  3. You can now switch between band 1 and band 2 by turning the channel switch.
  4. When you have selected the correct band, press the FUNC button. The display will first show rES and then rEND.
