The KEP 230 M-1 is a heavy-duty throat microphone with acoustic airtube , designed for clear communication in noisy environments. The microphone attaches directly to the throat and picks up vibrations from the vocal cords, blocking out background noise. This makes the KEP 230 M-1 ideal for use during hunting, fishing, motorcycling and other outdoor activities.

The large, waterproof PTT button ensures easy and reliable use, even when wearing gloves. In addition, a small finger PTT switch is included for additional ease of use. The angled 2-pin Motorola (M-1) connector makes this microphone compatible with various Motorola transceivers, including the Motorola DP1400, XT420 and XT460.
