The Magnum AV-1KM 6-Pin handsfree set is specially designed for 27MHz transceivers that are equipped with a 6-pin microphone connection. This device operates on 12VDC. Please note: sometimes there may be a sticker on the + line that states 5VDC. This is a factory error! In that case, the sticker is incorrect.
