This Magnum AV-1KMY Yaesu handsfree set is compatible with Yeasu 27Mhz transceivers that use RJ12 connector. Please note that this handsfree set is not suitable for the Yaesu FT857 and Yaesu FT897 transceivers.
Remark:
The microphone is mounted under the bulkhead bolt of the sun visor. Make sure it is securely mounted and the cable is routed safely. Also make sure the microphone is angled so it does not block your view forward
Info This Magnum AV-1KMY Yaesu handsfree set consists of a microphone boom that is connected to the interface. The switch box is connected with a cable to the microphone plug of the 27Mhz transceiver. On this switch box are up/down keys and a switch for changing from transmit to receive.
The curved interface makes it easy to mount to a gear lever with the supplied rubber ring. The microphone Gain can also be set on the interface. Please note! The CB version must be connected to a 12V power supply. This set is therefore extremely suitable for use by crane and crane operators.
