The digital squelch is an automatic squelch control that eliminates the need for manual adjustments by being automatically activated by the received signal. The noise blanker and ANL filters improve the sound and make it clearer, by eliminating interference such as ignition noise. Key features include the EMG function for direct emergency channel, selectable high and low power (4W/1W), and the SCAN and Dual Watch functions.
