The Midland Alan 78 Pro is the perfect multiband 27MHz transceiver for use on European roads and therefore ideal for truck drivers and drivers of other heavy vehicles but also for passenger cars and campers this Midland 27MC box is suitable. As the smaller brother of the Midland Alan 48 Pro the Midland alan 78 Pro offers powerful performance in a compact size, suitable for confined spaces.

The Midland 78 Pro has an adjustable transmission power (1W/4W) that can be adapted to the regulations of different countries. This makes it a versatile choice for long journeys and routes through Europe.
Advanced noise reduction
This 27MHz transceiver is equipped with advanced technology to reduce all kinds of noise. The Digital Squelch eliminates background noise, while the Noise Blanker removes continuous ambient noise. This ensures clear and interference-free communication, even in noisy environments.
User-friendly features
With the ability to scan available channels and the EMG button on the front panel for direct selection of emergency channel 9, the Alan 78 Pro offers quick and easy operation. The blue backlit LCD display clearly shows the set functions and the S-Meter indicator, which shows the strength of the received and transmitted signal.

The supplied microphone belongs to the “Precision Series” and is equipped with Up, Down and Lock buttons. The Midland Alan 78 Pro has connections for an external S-Meter, an external speaker and a 6-pin microphone connection. This makes it easy to add extra accessories for an even better user experience.
NOTE: In most European countries the default setting is: 40 channels FM, 4 W (EC) - accepted. In Germany for the operation in the German programming settings D1 .... D4 (as of release) as a mobile device no registration is required. Restrictions apply to channels 41-80 AT fixed stations near the border.
