The Midland 88 is designed for use on the FM and AM bands, making it suitable for communication within and beyond the European borders. The robust aluminium chassis houses a large TFT colour display that shows clear and legible frequencies and channel numbers. The robust construction and user-friendly design, including a backlit keypad, makes operating the transceiver a breeze, even in less than ideal conditions.
Key features of the Midland 88 include a powerful PA function, 4-channel memory for frequency settings, and a Dual Watch mode that allows you to efficiently find a free channel. The built-in Roger Beep ensures clear communication by beeping at the start and end of a call.
