The Moonraker AMPRO-12 is a rugged, reliable HF monoband antenna for mobile use on the 24 MHz band (12 meters) . Whether you are an experienced DXer or just starting out with mobile transmission, this antenna makes it easy and effective.
With a length of 245 cm , a power of up to 250 watts and a bandwidth of 300 kHz , this antenna delivers stable performance on the 12 meter band. Thanks to the center loading coil, the signal radiates efficiently and you use your transmission power to the maximum - perfect for long distance calls (DX).
The AMPRO-12 is built on a sturdy 3/8 inch fiberglass rod , with a durable 17-7PH stainless steel antenna boom and chrome plated brass fittings . These materials ensure years of carefree use, even in heavy mobile traffic.
The antenna is provided with a black antistatic protective sleeve that protects the coil and gives a neat appearance. Due to the slim, semi-rigid design, additional support such as springs or guy wires is not necessary. Thanks to the adjustable whip, you can easily tune to the lowest SWR for optimum performance.
The 3/8x24 thread makes assembly and disassembly quick and easy – perfect for on the go.
