The Moonraker AMPRO-17 is a powerful, lightweight HF monoband antenna designed for mobile use on the 18 MHz band (17 meters). This antenna is perfect for those who want to connect on HF on the go without hassle, but with top performance.
With a length of 245 cm, a power of up to 250 watts and a bandwidth of 160 kHz, the AMPRO-17 offers an excellent basis for reliable DX contacts on 17 meters. The center loading coil ensures efficient radiation of the signal, so that your transmit power is used optimally.
The antenna is built on a sturdy 3/8" fiberglass base, fitted with a durable 17-7PH stainless steel whip and chrome plated brass fittings. The black anti-static protective jacket protects the coil and gives the antenna a clean, professional look.
The semi-rigid design keeps the antenna stable under wind loads, without the need for additional springs or guy wires. The adjustable stainless steel whip helps you easily tune to the lowest SWR. The 3/8x24 thread allows for quick mounting and dismounting – ideal for mobile use.
