The Moonraker AMPRO-20 is a powerful and lightweight HF monoband antenna designed for mobile use on the 14 MHz band (20 meters) . This antenna is perfect for radio amateurs who want to be active on HF on the go without compromising performance or durability.
At 8 feet long , rated at up to 250 watts and with a bandwidth of 150 kHz , this antenna provides reliable performance for DX operations on 20 meters. The center loading coil provides efficient signal radiation, so your transmissions come through strongly, wherever you are. The AMPRO-20 is built on a strong 3/8 inch fiberglass base , equipped with a nearly indestructible 17-7PH stainless steel antenna rod and chrome plated brass fittings . The black anti-static coating protects the coil and provides a stylish finish.
The semi-rigid construction eliminates the need for additional reinforcement and keeps the antenna stable under wind loads. The adjustable whip allows you to easily tune the antenna for the lowest possible SWR. The 3/8x24 thread allows for quick (dis)assembly - ideal for on the road.
