The Moonraker AMPRO-6 is an efficient and robust HF monoband antenna specially tuned for the 50–52 MHz (6 meter) band . This mobile antenna combines performance with ease of use, making mobile HF transmitting a pleasure.
With a length of 125 cm , a power of up to 250 watts and an impressive bandwidth of 1500 kHz , this antenna is ideally suited for fast DX connections. The centre loading coil ensures efficient radiation and maximum output.
The construction is solid: a 3/8 inch fiberglass base , an adjustable stainless steel whip (17-7PH) and chrome plated brass fittings ensure years of reliable use. The anti-static black coating protects the coil and provides a clean look on any vehicle.
The semi-rigid design allows the antenna to withstand wind without the need for springs or guy wires. And with the 3/8x24 thread, the AMPRO-6 can be mounted in a snap – or removed quickly when needed.
