The Moonraker AMPRO-80 is a robust mobile monoband antenna specially tuned to the 3.5 MHz band . This antenna makes mobile working on HF simple, powerful and fun - perfect for the active radio amateur.
With a length of 245 cm , a power of up to 250 watts and a bandwidth of 35 kHz, the AMPRO-80 offers excellent performance in its class. The center loading coil ensures efficient radiation and a low SWR – ideal for DX connections.
The antenna is constructed from a sturdy 3/8 inch fiberglass rod, fitted with a nearly indestructible 17-7PH stainless steel antenna and chrome plated brass connectors . The black anti-static finish protects the coil and complements any vehicle.
The semi-rigid design allows the antenna to withstand wind without the need for additional springs or guy wires. The adjustable whip makes it easy to optimize SWR. And with the 3/8x24 thread, assembly and disassembly are a snap – convenient for mobile use.
