The NISSEI RS-70 is a digital SWR/Wattmeter with backlight, designed to optimally measure the performance of your transceiver. It covers a wide frequency range from 1.6 MHz to 60 MHz and can measure output powers up to 200 W with an accuracy of ± 5%. Thanks to the backlit LED display, measurements are easy to read, even in low light conditions.
The RS-70 SWR and Watt meter is simple to operate with an intuitive layout and provides easy access to functions such as measuring forward/reverse power and SWR with just one button press. Power can be supplied by either internal "AAA" batteries or an external Micro USB port , and rechargeable batteries can also be used.

User-friendly design
The NISSEI RS-70 was designed with the user in mind. The LCD display shows "Fwd/Rev Power and SWR" simultaneously, and automatically turns off the backlight after 30 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life. The unit is compatible with both alkaline and rechargeable batteries, although there is no built-in charging circuit. The simple setup and operation make this meter a reliable tool for any radio user.
Taking a measurement with the Nissei RS-70:
- Apply transceiver output to "TX" and antenna or charge to "ANT".
- “POWER” on for ready to use.
- LCD display shows “Fwd/Rev Power and SWR” simultaneously.
- For return = light, switch "LIGHT" to "ON".
- No function within 30 seconds. The backlight will turn off automatically.
- Once PTT is started, the backlight will be back on.
Remark:
- This device can use both alkaline battery (1.5V) and rechargeable battery (1.2V)
- This device does not have a built-in charging circuit.
- Make sure to turn off both “Power” and “Light” after use to save battery.
