The Plegium Smart Defense Spray is a legal and effective pepper spray containing concentrated menthol, a red dye and UV marking fluid. This innovative form of self-defense is equipped with Bluetooth and can be connected to the free Plegium app on your smartphone. The advantage of the app is that you can select a number of contacts who, as soon as the spray is used, receive an alarm. This alarm consists of a phone call followed by a text message with a link to Google Maps with your exact GPS location.

In addition, this self-defense spray is equipped with a flashing LED light (strobe LED) and a siren with a sound intensity of 130 dB so that it also attracts the attention of any bystanders in your area. The strobe LED goes off as soon as the spray is used and has a disorienting effect on the attacker.

Defensive spray with menthol

Some Plegium self-defense sprays contain a highly concentrated menthol-based liquid, which is a legal and effective alternative to pepper spray. Menthol is a powerful and eye-irritating agent and will temporarily blind the attacker. In addition, the sprays also contain a red dye and a UV marking liquid that ends up on the perpetrator when sprayed in a targeted manner. Call and SMS

When you have paired the spray with the app on your smartphone and the app is set up with your selected contacts, the app will, as soon as you use the spray, call the contacts with a spoken message saying that <name> has used the Plegium and that they are now sending a text message with the GPS location. The contact will then receive a text message with a link to Google Maps with your location.
