This optional fan kit for the President Washington is designed to easily mount to the threaded holes on the rear heatsink. The fan connects to a connector under the bottom of the case. There are two connectors available, allowing you to use two fans for additional cooling of the radio. The wires are neatly concealed in the grooves of the case. The kit also comes with replacement warranty seals, so you can re-insert them if they are removed.
The President Washington comes standard with the APM (Automatic Power Management) system, an advanced thermal management system designed to maintain optimum performance even in variable temperature conditions. The system continuously monitors the internal temperature of your radio. When temperatures rise, the optional fans can automatically switch on to cool the radio. If necessary, the power of your radio is automatically adjusted to reduce heat production. In addition, you can customize the thermal protection settings by setting your own temperature threshold for fan activation, if desired. This combination of options provides efficient thermal management, ensuring the durability and reliability of your radio in all operating conditions.
