The RM KL-506 is a 12V linear amplifier with a maximum power of 230W, suitable for use in the 10 meter amateur band frequency (or other HF bands with a suitable low pass filter). The amplifier requires a drive power of 1 to 10W in all modes. The KL 506 has an RX preamplifier with electronic switching, a three-position RF output selector switch on the front panel and a remote control jack. There is also an LED wattmeter on the front panel to indicate the output power.
