The Sigma Euro-Comm Delta 20 HP is a Full Wave Loop antenna designed for use on 20 m (14 MHz) and 10 m (28 MHz) without an antenna tuner , and on other bands (20 m, 17 m & 10 m) with an ATU. Due to the 4:1 balun at the feed point this antenna can be fed directly with 50 ohm coax such as RG-213 or Mini 8. Other variants of 50 ohm coax can also be used.

The antenna is supplied with three insulators which serve as mounting points. The antenna can be mounted horizontally as a square or equilateral triangle, or vertically or angled. Horizontal mounting is ideal for short-range DX or NVIS work, while vertical or angled mounting is suitable for longer distances.

Full wave delta loop:

Configured as a delta loop or equilateral triangle, this antenna provides excellent short range DX performance in a horizontal position. Vertical or near vertical mounting provides low angle radiation, ideal for long range DX directly in front of the antenna and short range DX to the sides. The antenna provides 3.2 dBd gain.

Full wave quad loop:

Horizontally mounted this configuration is excellent for NVIS. Vertically mounted it provides 2.8 dBd gain. When mounted at a 45 degree angle the antenna provides low angle DX.
