The Sigma HF-X80XP upgrade version is an advanced end-fed vertical antenna suitable for the frequency bands from 80 meters to 6 meters in combination with an external antenna tuner (ATU). This upgrade version offers an improved wall thickness of 1.2 mm (18 gauge) compared to the standard X-80, which provides extra strength and durability.

Excellent performance and easy installationThe Sigma HF-X80XP can be mounted either on the ground or in an elevated position, depending on your needs. The antenna has a maximum transmit power of 1 kW PEP, making it ideal for radio amateurs who want to operate at high powers.
How does the Sigma HF-X80XP work?
This antenna is fed with 50 Ohm coaxial cable via a SO-239 connector at the base. The integrated 4:1 UNUN transformer, housed in an IP65 waterproof housing, lowers the impedance at the feed point, resulting in more efficient operation and easy tuning with an external ATU. For users who experience static noise, the antenna can be grounded without affecting tuning.
