The Sigma LW-10 HF 40-6m wire antenna is ideal for radio amateurs and operates on all HF bands from 40m to 6m with an external ATU (antenna tuner). The 9:1 UNUN converts the impedance to 50 Ohms and reduces static noise. The antenna is easy to install and can handle 400W intermittent power. For constant data modes a higher power Balun is required. Manufactured in the UK, this antenna offers optimum performance and reliability.

  • Wide Frequency Band: The LW-10 operates on all HF bands from 40m to 6m with an external ATU.

  • Use a good quality 50 Ohm coaxial cable, preferably RG-213 or Mini 8.

  • When using a high-power amplifier, it is essential to place an external ATU between the antenna and the amplifier to prevent damage.

Important note:

The power capacity of 400W CW or 500W SSB is for intermittent amateur use only. For AM transmissions or digital data modes (FT-x, RTTY, etc.) a higher power Balun is required.
