It is the improved successor of the IMAX-2000 antenna. You must mount it between the 2nd section and the last section of the IMAX-2000. And if you want to optimize this MAX-2000 base antenna for the 11 meter band, you can also easily order the optionally available Solarcon MAX-Optimizer from Deltron. Then your base antenna has a total length of 760 cm. The MAX-2000 has a standard length of 730 cm and the Optimizer has a length of 30 cm.
Features of the MAX-2000 base 27MC antenna:
- Flexible Optimization: Choose between a balanced 10-11 meter antenna or optimize for the 11 meter band for maximum performance.
- Mounting for 11 meter performance: For optimum 11 meter performance mount the antenna with the optional MAX-2000 Optimizer section between the mid and top sections to make it a 4 section antenna.
- Mounting for 10-11 meter performance : For balanced 10-11 meter performance, omit the optional MAX-2000 Optimizer section and mount only this MAX-2000 base antenna.
