Aircell 7 is a highly flexible coaxial cable designed to support frequencies up to 6 GHz. Due to its low attenuation in relation to the outer diameter and small bending radius, Aircell 7 is suitable for various RF applications.
The low damping level of Aircell 7 is the result of intensive production techniques and the use of a dielectric with a foam rating of over 70%. This unique dielectric also offers water resistance and long-term stability.
Inner conductor with 19 braided bare copper wires
The inner conductor of Aircell 7 consists of 19 braided bare copper wires of low oxygen copper (OFC), which provides surprising flexibility. In addition, Aircell 7 has double shielding: an overlapping and 100% tight copper foil, and an additional shielding of bare copper wires with 85% coverage. The copper foil is provided with a PE coating to prevent cracking due to short radius bends. The black PVC jacket of the Aircell 7 coaxial cable is UV-stabilized.
