SSB SeaTex-7 is a DNV-GL certified coaxial cable, specially designed for use in the offshore and maritime sector. This coaxial cable meets the strictest requirements and is suitable for applications on ships, in wind turbines, on oil platforms and oil rigs. With the globally recognized DNV-GL certification, the SeaTex-7 offers guaranteed reliability and safety in demanding environments.
The SeaTex-7 coaxial cable is halogen-free, low-loss, highly flexible and has a small bend radius, allowing installation in tight spaces. The jacket, made of a special thermoplastic copolymer (SHF2), offers excellent protection against heat, cold, oil, salt water, UV radiation and other weather influences. This robust construction ensures a long service life, even in the harshest environments.
Based on the proven Aircell 7 structure, the SeaTex-7 SHF2 offers excellent damping values and flexibility. With a frequency range of up to 6 GHz and an operating temperature range of -55 to 85 °C, the SeaTex-7 combines the advantages of Aircell coaxial cables with the specific requirements of maritime and offshore applications.
