Stabo gooseneck VOX microphone 6-P

With this Stabo gooseneck VOX microphone you can communicate hands-free with a 27Mhz transceiver (CB radio, 27MC transceiver). This gooseneck from Stabo has a 6-pin connection with President/Stabo wiring. The Stabo gooseneck VOX microphone can be connected to the Stabo XM-3006, Stabo XM-5008e-R Vox, President Barry II Vox, President Martin Vox, President Johnson II Vox, President Teddy II Vox and President Lincoln II Transceiver.

How does VOX work?

The name VOX is an abbreviation of "Voice Activated Transmission", which means that the operation is activated by speech. A Vox microphone switches on as soon as it hears a clear voice and switches off again as soon as the voice stops.

Stabo gooseneck VOX microphone for truck drivers

This Stabo gooseneck VOX microphone is ideal for trucks where the 27Mhz transceiver is mounted above the steering wheel or above the windshield in the cabin. The Stabo gooseneck microphone can be connected directly to the original microphone connection of the 27MC transceiver and can then be aimed/angled in the direction of the driver. This Vox microphone works best when the distance between the driver and the microphone is approximately 30cm. If the distance is greater, we recommend ordering an extension set for this gooseneck. NB! This gooseneck extension set is not yet available and is expected mid-Oct/Nov 2020.

Legislation for the use of 27Mhz microphone as of July 1, 2020

In a number of countries, as of July 1, 2020, it is prohibited to communicate with a microphone in your hand via the CB radio, 27Mhz transceiver, 27MC radio. In France and Germany, among others, you can be fined for this.
