The Super Star 3900 is a classic 27MC transceiver with a nostalgic look and modern improvements. This transceiver offers 40 channels (multi-standard) and supports AM, FM, USB, and LSB. The transmit power is 4W for AM/FM and 12W for SSB, while the export version offers 12W AM/FM and 40W SSB .
In 2023, the Super Star 3900 has been updated with several improvements, including a display with function indicator, improved backlighting, a new handheld microphone with channel switching buttons (up/down), and a new board design with advanced micro components. These changes reduce overall weight and enhance reliability, without losing the iconic features of the original design.
Although the Super Star 3900 is primarily designed as a mobile device, it can also be used as a base station when connected to an optional DC power supply and antenna.
